Muskoka Miracle by Carolyn Miller

Muskoka Miracle by Carolyn Miller is the last book in the Muskoka Romance series. Sarah and Dan Walton have been married and living their dream life. Sarah continues to write and perform music and Dan plays professional hockey. They want to have a baby, but nothing seems to be going right.

The story drew me in as I watched Sarah and Dan’s hearts change. Dan and Sarah had great chemistry, banter, and a solid friendship. Watching their life go on after being married was a treat. The author did a great job with this faith-based story sharing struggles in a way that was very relatable to the reader. I was invested in the story and felt very connected to the characters. I enjoyed catching up with Dan and Sarah and all my friends in Muskoka.

This book is a beautiful story about faith, trusting in God as you walk through the hard, and the beauty of love. After reading I felt like I understood more of my Father, and His great love for me. I could not seem to put the story down! I highly recommend Muskoka Miracle by Carolyn Miller.

The Perfect Rom-Com by Melissa Ferguson

The Perfect Rom-Com by Melissa Ferguson is simply perfect!  I adored this novel.  Bryony is an ESL teacher who is trying to save her work place with a book she has written.  Jack Sterling is a literary agent who talks Melissa into a ghost writing for a big-name author.

This book was everything!  Bryony and Jack had amazing chemistry, banter, and a great friendship.  Jack is simply cool and you never quite sure what he is up to which gives him an air of mystery.  Bryony is the friend that you always wanted and you hope her sister comes along w when you go to lunch!  I loved this novel from beginning to end and kept turning the pages to see what would happen next.  It has romance, sweet friendships, great humor and simply sparkles.

The Perfect Rom-Com by Melissa Ferguson is a novel you do not want to miss.  The writing is fantastic and I think it is the author’s best work to date.  The humor, romance, and engaging characters will draw you in and you will not want to leave the story.  I highly recommend The Perfect Rom-Com by Melissa Ferguson.

The Mother's Day Bargain by Martha Fouts

The Mother’s Day Bargain by Martha Fouts and Narrated by Lisa Lynn Sandlin was a delightful read. Rae and Gabriel have been friends since childhood. Rae works in IT and has liked Gabriel as long as she can remember. Gabriel is a realtor who has recently realized that he cares for Rae. Their moms decide to have them for brunch, but they must bring a date or their moms will set them up.

It was a joy to listen to The Mother’s Day Bargain. I was so engaged in the story and loved the characters. The themes of redemption, family, and walking by faith resonated with me. I loved the chemistry between Rae and Gabriel, being an insider as they wrestled with tough issues, and the humor sprinkled throughout the book.

It is wonderful to read a faith-based book with well-developed characters, humor, and relatable life lessons. I enjoy the author’s story and feel like her books are the perfect length. I highly recommend listening to the audio and it was the highlight of my recent trip. The Mother’s Day Bargain is an enjoyable listen.

Hello! My name is Martha, and in addition to being an author, I’m also a pastor’s wife, a mom, and now I’m a mother-in-law! My three sons really threw us all for a loop in 2023 — they all got married within 7 months of each other! Whew! It was BANANAS, but it was also so much fun. I ADORE all three of my new daughter-in-loves, and I am so thankful that we are a family of eight! (Also, I am SERIOUSLY thinking of how I can make that crazy wedding season of our life into a book!)

My husband, Kevin, is the pastor of Discovery Church in Yukon, Oklahoma, and it is my joy to get to serve alongside him at Discovery. I was a public school teacher for many years, and I enjoyed teaching, but I am loving this new season of getting to work with my husband in ministry.

I am passionate about writing and have written a few novels and Bible studies. For fun, I love to go to coffee shops and read or write. I also love to get pedicures and brunch with friends and go for walks at the park. My favorite books are those that blend romance and humor and point people to Jesus.
