Counterfeit by Kirstin Chen

Counterfeit by Kirstin Chen was thoroughly entertaining. Our story starts with Ava telling a detective how she was coerced into helping Winnie, her college roommate, in an illegal designer handbag scheme. Winnie and Ava were fascinating characters and I enjoyed sharing their experiences, escapades and world travels.

The story takes the reader through high end stores, factories in China, and illegal dealings across international borders. I was engrossed in this book and enjoyed following along as I tried to figure out what really was happening.

This was a quick, interesting read that was gratifying and diverting. I recommend Counterfeit.

I was given a copy by the publisher and not required to write a positive review.
