Are We There Yet by Savannah Scott

Are We There Yet by Savannah Scott is the first book in her brand new series. Riley, Maddie, Ben and Cameron take a road trip from Ohio to California to get to their new jobs and to start school. Riley has liked her best friend Maddie’s brother, Cameron Reeves, forever. Just ask her journal. Will he ever notice her?

Road tripping is always fun, but especially in a VW van, driving Route 66, and with great places to stop along the way. I I enjoyed getting to know Riley and Cameron. Their chemistry was great, they have a wonderful friendship, and are very endearing characters. The author did a nice job with their back story, developing their romance, and the dual POV.

Are We There Yet is all a rom-com should be with characters that are fun and endearing, a delightful road trip setting, and swoony romance. I highly recommend and can not wait for the next book in the series.

I’ve spent many years as the “den mom” in my own private Boy Scout troop … mom to two boys, one no longer living at home, and a whole slew of boys in our neighborhood too.

We also have a labradoodle puppy named Bella … she likes to eat shoes, tug the dishtowel off the stove, and chase squeaky balls. Sometimes she chills out and then we call her Bella-Snugarella because she flops against you like a living teddy bear. That’s my favorite.

Encouraging other moms is my jam. I’ve written several non-fiction books for women (under Patty H Scott), and I have a website dedicated to pouring out into mama hearts at slowdownmama.com.

When I’m not writing, I’m either reading, dancing zumba, or going on a walk or out to coffee with friends. I love road trips, especially when there’s adventure in the mix.
MY DREAM

I love love love writing.

In April 2020 I took a big leap and started writing fiction.

I didn’t know if I could, but some writer friends encouraged me. Turns out, I’m not half bad at this gig, and I LOVE IT! (so so so much!)

I started writing sweet romance and have nine books under my name (Patty H Scott).

In Dec 2021 I started writing closed-door romcom as Savannah Scott, with Friend(shipped) being the first book in my Getting Shipped series.
