Her Texas Cowboy by Jill Lynn is a wonderfully written story about Rachel Maddox. Rachel believes that her past will always follows her. She is a lovely heroine who is strong and longs to follow the Lord. Watching Rachel grow and change in this story I could not help but be changed as well for the better. Hunter McDermott is our hero. He is a long-time friend of Rachel and such a lovable hero. We get to watch him change, make peace with his past, and trust more in the Lord.
I love Jill’s writing especially the details she put into each story. Her characters are so believable and are people I wish I knew in real life! This book has a great flow and I really enjoyed it. I anxiously await her next book and my hope is that she will write many more wonderful stories. I highly recommend Her Texas Cowboy.

Winning Miss Winthrop by Carolyn Miller is the first in the Regency Brides Series A Promise of Hope. Catherine Winthrop is our heroine and Jonathan Carlew is our hero. They loved each other in the past and the story is how they relearn to love each other in the present.
I loved this book. It had a great flow, I enjoyed reading it and the pace to me was perfect. I felt I was in Bath,England and was attending the events with the characters.
To me this story reminded me of Persuasion by Jane Austen. Parts of the story were set in Bath, two people who loved each other were separated by someone else, and they eventually came back together. I love Persuasion and enjoyed finding the similarities.
If like me you love Regency stories you will love this book. I highly recommend Winning Miss Winthrop and all of Caroline Miller’s books.

Claiming Her Cowboy by Tina Radcliffe is a great read featuring Lucy Maxwell, ranch director, and Jackson Harris, the tough lawyer from the city. But wait, who is the cowboy? Jackson Harris has decided that Oklahoma's Big Heart Ranch should not continue to receive funding through his Aunt's foundation. He has done the math and as her attorney does not think it is smart move. His Aunt thinks otherwise.
Jackson is assigned to the position of ranch hand. He observes the ranch happenings while learning his way around the ranch and getting to know Lucy. Lucy and Jackson have a wonderful chemistry and I could not help smiling throughout the story.
I love the setting of a ranch that cares for orphans. I also love how adoption is a part of this story and portrayed so positively. Cute kids, a handsome cowboy, great dialogue, and funny animals to boot make for a great story. I highly recommend Ms. Radcliffe's new book Claiming Her Cowboy, and cannot wait for the other two books in the series.
